Lisa.

DIRECTOR / STUDIO MUM

Hi, I’m Lisa, thanks for stopping by! I would like to introduce you to our awesome team here at Inkdrop. We are a four-woman, one-man, and one-pug team, operating out of our studio in Mount Maunganui. We absolutely love what we do and get as excited about design projects as our clients (if not a little more). We are a team of perfectionists and strive to be proud of the work we create so that our clients always look their best. Take a look below and read about our wonderful team and the talents they bring to our work.

A little bit about me, eight years ago, I unintentionally set off to start my very own design studio after working in the industry for a number of years. Eight years later and Inkdrop is still going strong. It’s taken hard work, going the extra mile, and continuously proving ourselves to earn our clients’ trust over and over. My passions are branding, publication, and website design, and I have eleven years of industry experience. Inkdrop was my first baby, and now I’m a mother to my two sons, Noah and Eli (three if you count Hank the pug, who terrorises passers-by on the odd occasion. Apologies to our local courier, eep). Life is busy and full but I wouldn’t change a thing in the world. I’m lucky to be doing what I love for a career alongside a wonderful team and with some pretty amazing clients.

What matters to me: Being able to use my creative knowledge to give back and help the good sorts in our community doing some pretty amazing things.

Lucy.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR / ESSEX GIRL

Lucy is our resident Creative Director at Inkdrop. With over twenty years of experience in the creative industry, Lucy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. Her passion for design and her dedication to both the team and Inkdrop’s clients has earned her a reputation as a highly sought-after creative.

After exploring the world and working for global publishing and advertising agencies, Lucy decided to leave her Essex life and settled in New Zealand. This experience has given her sound knowledge in publishing, branding and creative strategy. Lucy’s leadership, and ability to always push creative thinking to the next level make her a integral part of the Inkdrop team.

Outside of work, Lucy can be found thrashing around in a swimming pool (pretending to be good at it) or freezing on the sidelines of a pitch watching her two kids (and quite often the family dog) chasing a football. An avid collector of stripey t’shirts and converse shoes, Lucy will certainly grumble if a banana makes its way into the office!

What matters to me:
There is nothing more exciting than connecting with people and building enduring relationships. It is always humbling to be asked to join our clients on their creative journey and for them to entrust us to deliver engaging design solutions that they not only like, but have fallen in love with.

Anton.

MARKETING LEAD / MBM (DISC.) / BUNNINGS ENTHUSIAST

Anton brings a diverse skill set to the Inkdrop team, having worked for some of New Zealand's leading corporates, across a range of industries. His keen interest in operational detail enables him to deep-dive into our clients' worlds, unearthing the challenges and strengths that make their businesses unique. From this foundation, Anton enjoys building effective, consumer-centric marketing solutions, leveraging his years in Zespri's Global Marketing team where he focused on new product development.

Outside the studio, Anton enjoys smashing his thumbs to oblivion with hammers, getting electrical shocks and shaking his head as he battles to resolve numerous DIY dilemmas. A big fan of sleep, Anton spends his evenings awake, often playing musical beds with his two pre-schoolers.

What matters to me: Empowering our clients to put their absolute best foot forward by bridging the gap between their expert product knowledge and the mysterious drivers of their consumers. . .and ideally having a bit of fun in the process!

Alice.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER / TYPOGRAPHY LOVER / BEACH-GOER

Alice has a knack for making the complex simple in her design approach. With a love for clever design that captures the ‘big idea’, she has mastered the art of refining her designs to the finest detail. As our resident typography nut, Alice always ensures she puts her talents to good use in the branding, packaging and website design projects she works on.

After enjoying a stint abroad working in the Melbourne advertising world, Alice returned home to the Bay of Plenty. With over six years of industry experience under her belt, she is a valued member of the Inkdrop team.

In her spare time, you might find Alice listening to trashy podcasts, reading tragic romance books, devouring a cheese platter, and sipping on a cocktail of choice.

What matters to me: People. Both inside and outside of work people are what matters most to me. I want my work to connect and help people in any way it can.

A Rosé lover who watches too much Love Island.

Abby.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER / EXTROVERT / PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE FEEN

Abby is our intermediate designer who brings her sharp wit and fun vibes to the office. Abby moved to New Zealand from North Carolina, USA after finishing up her BFA in Graphic Design at Appalachian State University. She loves all things design but finds joy in publications, typography and illustrations. She brings a unique perspective to the team and isn’t afraid to think outside of the box.

When she’s not letting her creative juices flow, you can find her at the beach surfing with friends, at the gym, watching trashy tv, listening to a true crime podcast or making terrible dad jokes.

What matters to me: Finding big and small moments of joy every day and helping others do the same, life is short.

Most often found with either a book or G&T in hand.
